The grimacing face (probably how I look putting on makeup too - lol) doesn't echo how I feel about this outfit . It is a grey day today though...

This lovely Kenneth Cole sweater came to me via Suz yesterday - and I am so pleased I have the pieces with which to create a new favourite outfit. For starters, this sweater, one of Angie's Fall NAS picks, is so incredibly soft and comfortable, I think it will transcend seasons . The design features are interesting to me - the draped collar is just enough for my taste, and stops being overly voluminous where it matters on me- my chest and midsection. The bottom zips are functional, which I appreciate, and I like them best unzipped to add a little extra drama.

I bought these grey jeans a few weeks ago and haven't worn them yet - happy to pull them out today. And the Club Monaco print silk tank (definitely warm in tone, while the sweater is not ) has been an orphan in my closet since I wore it once to the event I bought it for 3 years ago. I'm so happy with this - because pulling together pieces from the closet is not my forte . Finished off the ensemble with grey suede/metallic boots, a pewter metallic bag, and my favourite Jenny Bird silver neckpiece.

Lots of grey tones and textures going on here - have I overdone it with mixing warm, cool , shine, suede, silk, cotton, denim, etc etc? I'm always scared of overdoing it.......

Your thoughts on all the tones and textures are most welcome!! Thanks for looking today - and thank you SUZ for selling me this great sweater!!!
