Should I take these shoes back?

I'm new to this forum, so Hello!
I'm excited to be part of the YLF community here, and can't wait till my 3 days are up and I can see all your photos!

Anyway, I went shopping for a pair of casual heels, and now I'm wondering whether I should return them because they seem like they'd get dirty very fast.

The site claims they're suede, but the seem to be some other type leather -- maybe nubuck?

Also, maybe they're too similar to another pair of wedges I have?

Welcome to YLF! I love both of the shoes you have posted - excellent taste! I do not find them similar except that they are both spring/summer footwear. I vote keep if you have use for them, they are comfortable and you like them.
As for worry about dirt I think you can spray them and that will help quite a bit.

I vote keep if they are comfortable. Very fashionable. Light shoes don't get as dirty as you think - I have many pairs - as long as you don't walk in mud and puddles.

I agree that the new ones have a different vibe from the ones you already have, and that a protective spray can help keep stains off. I've actually found nubuck to be pretty sturdy -- easier to maintain than suede. Welcome!

Your new shoes are lovely, and quite different from the pair you already have. If you use a protective spray, as Janet suggests, they should be fine.

I love that style. I have had my eyes open for something similar ever since I saw them on un-fancy. i know in my climate they would be a three season shoe as opposed to the second shoe which is a true sandal. I vote keep!

The new shoes are totally different and pretty snazzy. I'd say keep... so long as they're not too high or anything.

I agree with the others: the new pair is very different from the old, so I would buy and enjoy! I don't think that they'll show the dirt bad.

I agree too! I think the sandals are a true simmer classic style whereas the new ones are more modern and trendy. And whilst both neutral I find the colours different, one cool and one warm.

I would keep unless the budget is too tight or you have a greater wardrobe hole ie flat sandals.

Ok, well, the hole in my wardrobe is heels. I only have the Clarks, and I plan on wearing more boot it and wide leg pants (as opposed to just skinnies) with heels to get that nice long leg line that Angie suggests in her write up on hourglass figures (and I have short legs).

The new shoes are actually MORE comfortable than the Clarks (so really comfortable). They're great.

The thing is that I'm trying to do a capsule wardrobe and was worried about having shoes that were too similar, but it looks like they're still different enough...they both seem to have quite a casual vibe about them, but I guess that's just my style.
I sprayed them with some protector so

I love light colored shoes and don't find they are hard to keep clean. I spray protector on mine several times during the season and it seems to do the trick.
