Should I keep these Levi's Slight Curve Jeans?

I thought this was a good idea when Levi's came out with jeans that fit different butt shapes.

I took their on-line survey. Result: Demi Curve.
Then I measured myself per their video instructions. Result: Slight Curve.

So I ordered the Slight Curve jeans. First, they felt quite tight for my usual size. But I can feel them stretching out. They appear to be good quality. Levi's almost always delivers good quality for a fair price! I am typically a premium denim girl, but I like Levi's.

Here are pictures. I LOVE the leg shape of these jeans!

But I'm not loving the way my butt looks in these. I think the pocket placement is too wide, and widens my rear (which doesn't need widening!) What do you think? Here are 2 photos:

Stretching out is no good! I like how they fit but send them back if you think they are already starting to bag.

Hey! I agree with you about the pocket placement. I tried these same jeans and they made my size 4 butt look HUGE. I did not buy them!

The leg shape IS nice, but with jeans, the rear view is EVERYTHING. The last thing any of us needs are jeans that make our butts look bigger than they really are.

I am with you on love of Levi's even though I've taken to premium denim in the last few years. I still love my Levi's! I can see what you are saying about the wide placement of the pockets. I don't think it's a deal breaker, but if it makes you feel self conscious I'd send em back. There are plently of other Levi's out there that you can find the perfect ones with work.

And I agree with bella: stretching out is NOT good.

2% spandex is the magic number for me. 1% just doesn't cut it.

Thank you for the feedback Bella, Barbara, Mo and Lana! Looks like they will be going back. I will try the Demi Curve, they probably have them in the same leg shape "Slight Bootcut."

Can't speak to the bagging out issue, but I do like a "slight bootcut" leg. But the pockets on these are not flattering. OTOH, if you plan to wear them only with a long top then it doesn't matter...

I agree about the pocket placement. It's a bummer (pardon the bad pun :).

In response to your question about the bagging issue, Angie: My SO only wears Levi's and he does experience bagging, but I don't have any experience with their women's line.

I agree - the pocket placement is just tooooo wide! You can do better.
I don't own any Levis so I can't speak to the stretching out/bagging issue.

Angie - You are not the only one. Every pair of Levi's that I have ever owned seem to bag out.

Looks like the decision was made here.
Well I haven't bought Levi's in such a long time because they bag out so badly. It could have changed in the last ten years for women, but men's definitely still bag.
