Hello there!

I know WIWs & shoes is all I seem to talk about here on YLF, and i really hope that doesn't annoy you guys...

...but here I am - talking about them again! I love shoes, i seriously do, and for me they are more of a means to accessorize my outfit. I like experimenting with different styles and my latest love has been for pointed toe shoes... trust me if you told me last year I'd have a 'thing' for them, I would've rolled my eyes at you!

So it turns out that I still have a few shoe styles and patterns I'd like to try on, and i thought maybe I'd share them with you and see what you all think ☺

I'd also love to know what kind of shoes you usually gravitate towards and what's on your lust list for the season ☺

So here are my picks:

#1 is a pair of blue leather lace ups. Pointed toe and flat. I love the gold detail at the heel as well!

#2 is a pair of snake print plimsolls and I think they'd be very versatile...comfy too!

#3 is a somewhat weird one! A pair of leather loafers with thread work on the sides...this is definitely going to be a love or hate pair! And I love the way it looks!

#4 is again a pair of black lizard print plimsolls. These look like a very basic yet beautiful pair to me...

I think all of these are really on-trend and would fun additions to your wardrobe. I think when you wear a lot of jeans and simple outfits, shoes are an awesome way to add some "zing" and fun to the looks... especially if your feet aren't difficult to fit!

Love the lace ups. from what I have seen they are super trendy this season. love the slip ons too. I have finally given up on ever finding ones that stay on my feet. Agree with Jenn about shoes to perk up a basic jeans outfit. I am getting in the habit of with basic jeans and shirt to t shirt, a change of footwear, topper, and adding scarf or jewelry can transform an outfit form very casual to like out to lunch casual.

I am a big shoe lover too, and luckily I have only minor feet problems, so can wear many styles and heels to 3 inches. This makes for too many shoes. But for fall am looking for lace up booties and flat higher shaft ones. Taking my time to find the right ones, as it will not really be wearable weather until later October. Also I have tall boots and other booties and shoes to wear.

For cold weather, I have fallen for flat booties as the best for me. They keep my feet warm and update an outfit. For transitional weather, I like oxfords and loafers with which I can wear invisible socks for comfort but still have bare legs. For fall I want to find flat booties with a higher shank, but am running into problems with wide shanks for my narrow ankles and a sensitive ankle bone that will not have the tall shoe rubbing on it. Those that lace up rub painfully on top of my feet. I may have to stick with low booties and leave the high shank to others.

@Jenn: you're so right, I'm usually always in a jeans and shirt or top and so for me my handbag and shoes become the accessory to dress up or dress down whatever I'm wearing ☺
And ya thankfully ny feet aren't difficult to fit at all, just a bit broad, haha!

@always trying: ah this is like me talking! I too have tons of shoes & I'm very comfortable in 3 inch heels. I feel it's a great way to dress up a very basic outfit ☺
I've been seeing lace ups everywhere this year and though I have a pair of wedges in this style, I wanted pointed toe flats, so maybe I'll give these a go... they have them in this blue and then a black- what do you think is a better color? Thanks so much!

@joy: hello! ☺ I know what you mean by lace ups rubbing on the top of the foot, I have a pair of wedges that become painful after a while.
I love love love oxfords and loafers just like you, pity I haven't been able to find good tan color oxfords this year, beeb looking everywhere!
