Drizzly day today. I like this outfit and felt snappy all day!

Top: Sweet Pea
Cami: ATLoft
Jeans: Citizens
Necklace: Ann Taylor (has turquoise, gold and brown in it, if you can't tell)
ballet flats: Cole Haan

I've worn the top before, with light-colored (stone?) khakis (the pattern is not a white - it's closer to a cream or even a beige) and my turquoise pointy-toed sling backs. But the top is a bit sheer, so I think this layering with a cami works a lot better, and gives the pop of color.

I would've never thought to layer a cami under a scoop neck top, until this blog... so yeah for YLF!!!

The shoes: These are going with me to Paris. They are soooooo COMFY!! Like wearing bedroom slippers. They have the air Nike in them, but you can't tell - they look dainty as can be, but actually have a good amount of cushioning and support. And they are wider around the toe bed. They are metallic but a kinda pinkish/pearl gold.

They run a little long, which worked out good for me. I put an insert in the back of just one shoe - the foot that doesn't have a bunion. The one with the bunion, I left it out, so that my foot has more room and isn't squashed into the front right were it tends to rub and drive me batty.

I bought a second, similar Sweet Pea top the same time (this was weeks ago), now I just have to figure out what kind of cami to wear under it. The second top has shades of pink, mauve, yellow, and army green, all in a zig-zag pattern. The reason I bought it? I was on a mission to find something that would go with a diamond and pink sapphire bracelet my DH bought me!! I don't wear pinks and fushcias all that much.
