Here's the whole album:

I am really busy at work this month, so I did not get out of gear (much less the house!) on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Also it did not help that we had water problems meaning no shower for a few days. Ugh. Rough week.
Thursday: inspired by Angie's floral pin post, the photo where she attached the pin to her necklace. I didn't have a floral pin, so I attached a favorite brooch to my pearl necklace instead. Also this is one of my favorite spring jackets (AT).

Friday: We attended the Iron Pour with my friend Jane. This event is always fun but quite the wardrobe challenge. You want to wear machine-washable clothes, particularly your coat, because all the fire and smoke can stick to your dry-clean clothes forever. Plus, there's always the chance an ember will land on you and singe your good clothes. And the event requires flat shoes because it is held in a muddy quad. Oh yes, and it was raining a bit. And cold!
Pic with coat (Anthropologie machine-washable jacket):

Without coat: similar outfit to one I've worn before (shown here http://s386.photobucket.com/al.....mar_21.jpg), but swapped out the nice silk blouse for a machine-washable cotton Jcrew tunic:

I think I like it better with the silk top but what can you do... I wasn't about to risk it getting ruined.
Saturday: I didn't have time to take a pic, but I wore something similar to what you saw before - a version of this but with a simple black BR knit top and the yellow purse:

Easter sunday: it was soooo cold (low 40s with a high wind) I opted for jeans instead of a skirt or dress. Why is easter always so cold? I did bring out my short-sleeve white jacket and braved the cold with my turquoise sling-backs. I wore my cobalt Jcrew wool coat over top this when outdoors, which was just about right. That coat has a turquoise lining, so I felt just a bit too matchy-matchy.

Easter was quite lovely - my SIL knocked herself out. The food was amazing. She may show up on YLF... she is quite the fashionista herself, and was intrigued by the concept.
