Today was the first day of school (embarrassing note: i went to school last tuesday thinking it started then!), so I just wanted something comfortable and simple for the first day.

Spectator Pumps - Naturalizer

I had been wanting spectator pumps for years (I think I first saw them in "Pretty Woman" and have loved them ever since.), but all I could ever find were costume-y ones. I think I bought these about 7-8 months ago, per Angie's suggestion in a post. They are fabulously comfortable! Only about a 2" heel, I think. Anyways, love them and glad to finally have an opportunity to wear them!

I guess I was influenced by the earrings for this outfit. I usually don't wear earrings, but i couldnt resist these peacock feather earrings! i hate birds but can't help but love the peacock!

I was feeling kinda blah by the end of the week, so I thought I'd jazz up a simple outfit with a fab necklace! This was inspired by Julia's (I think) post about adding a pin to a necklace. So, thanks for the inspiration, Julia!

I feel like I'm recycling a lot of the same items! The pin, the necklaces...but that's ok, i think - i love them! Just thought this would be an interesting way to sport the brooch. Also, this is one of the few times I've ever sported a "floral" print. My mom bought me this stop as a "back-to-school" gift (I know, "aww, how cute! :D), so I thought I'd give it a whirl.

I always forget to mention that you can CRS if you'd like. I don't always like CRSing others b/c im not very good at it! So don't feel obligated to CRS if you're not comfortable Thanks!

First of all, you are the layering queen. You do it very well.

Love the outfit you wore for the first day of school with the long sweater. Very flattering silhouette.

Thursday is fab!!! You should trademark that color. The sweater, jeans, necklace and chic animal print flats are great together.

Friday is very pretty, too. Don't think of it as recycling -- think of it as a signature look!

I love love all the outfits. Your layering, sense of color, and fun accessories are so fun, funky, and unique. Very well done!
My favorite elements include: the peacock earrings (so fun), the red scarf, the spectaor pumps as well as all your fab flats, the fuchsia blouse, the red sweater, and the blue vest - so cute! The only outfit I consider "fine" but not "spectacular" like the others is Friday, and that's only because of the color of the blouse. I like you so much in colorful tops that the cream blouse seems very pale in comparison.

I am a newbie here and I have to say I admire you ability to layer. That is truly something I have yet to master. Your outfits are so darling. Loads of color and fun. Love love love the animal print flats and peacock earrings. Great style. I look forward to continuing seeing what you come up with.
