Shell - Week of 3/1

Hi everyone! Another week of outfits! The theme was apparently "Rainbow Cardigans" because I wore one of nearly every color of the rainbow!

It was also the debut of my new haircut, which is always fun. They just added some layers and trimmed it a bit, but I think it gave it some life again!

I've been playing around with my blog a little bit (I even changed the site name to SHELL of the ball, not elle of the ball), so some of the old posts are a bit wonky. But, hopefully the cheery pink background will make up for that!

The blue paired with the grey pants is a lovely combo. Your chunky pearls are great! And the way you altered your cardie sleeves is ingenous. I love the new length!!

Shell, you had another great week. I especially like Friday's pink and turquoise. Pink is my favorite color on you and how you altered the cardi was genius. You can rock a pencil skirt too.

Your colorful outfits inspired me to wear an aqua BR buttonup shirt under a peachy coral cardi lined with a fabric print of coral and aqua dots on cream, multicolored beads and cream cords.

Great haircut, and you look lovely as usual. I really like the pin on Sunday outfit - what a great idea to brighten somber colors (taking notes)! Also love all the necklaces, especially, Tue and Fri.

Friday's outfit really stood out for me - love the necklace, and how you were so clever to cut off the sleeves of your cardi and trim with a button!

shell you cutie patootie your rainbow of cardigans made me smile! i can totally relate too, since i am known as the cardie queen among my own friends :). i love some of those unexpected color combos - i've been working on being more imaginative with color myself.

laura, i did go to Vogue Fabrics!! it was my first time there, but i will definitely be going back again! they had so many bolts of fabric...i thought i was going to pass out from fabric overload!
