Hi everyone,
Just thought I'd pop in with my latest week of outfits!

01/12 - Monday

This is a new sweater I got for XMAS from the Gap. It's nice and warm, which was great for our below zero temps last week.

This sweater was also a christmas gift. despite the fact that it's pink, i probably wouldn't have picked it out myself. but, it's a good basic, and, well, it's pink!

This was the outfit I settled on for our career night. I was initially planning on wearing a skirt, but it was far too cold!

You all saw this outfit already! Thanks for helping me choose an outfit for the interview! This was actually taken a few nights before the interview...I actually wore a double strand of pearls rather than the single strand. and my hair was cleaner

Hi Shell, fabulous week! I'm really curious to know how the interview went. I hope it went well.

Did you see my swap post? There's a pink necklace and bracelet set on there that I think has your name written all over it, and is yet "unclaimed." If it's not your cuppa, I understand. I just wanted to make sure you got a chance to see it before I give it to Goodwill.

The interview went pretty well! However, they won't know if they're hiring until March, so it'll be a long wait. I'm not sure I'll take the job anyway b/c it's in Las Vegas, and Steve doesn't really want to move there. He actually is trying to get a job in Temple, TX, so I may have to start looking there!

Ana, I didn't see the swap post until now! You've been busy taking photos! How exciting that the first YLF swap post went so well! The necklace and bracelet set is lovely and very pink!! However, it's not quite my cuppa, as you put it :), so I'll have to pass. How sweet of you to think of me though!

Lena, I didn't do any hair dying for a few months now, but it's funny you noticed my hair brightening - i've noticed that too! The color must be fading or something...

I love your teal cardi on Wednesday Shell, and both the career night outfit and the interview outfit are winners!

I'm glad to hear your interview went well, pity though you have to wait for more news until March, pfff. I didn't even realise you live near Las Vegas. I'm sure you'll manage to get a job someplace that both you and Steve like.

I actually live in Wisconsin. After our below zero weather the last week or so, I'm not sure I'd really mind moving to Las Vegas! But it is nice to have the four seasons...

Very nice, Shell! I really love that sweater from Gap - I had it on in grey and almost bought it but didn't, and when I went back it was gone. Glad you're enjoying it!

Aha, my mistake Shell. I can sympathize with the cold weather feelings, but I agree: I would really miss having four different seasons (and the opportunity to wear both Summer and Winter clothes).
