This was my new years eve outfit. I ended up wearing a different necklace, i think, but i can't quite recall which one. this was just my "practice photo" to make sure i liked the outfit before i wore it.

Shoes - I think i was wearing my grey converse, but i had to take them off before the photo b/c they were all wet.

The sleeves on this sweater are too short, so i had them rolled up all day. otherwise, i think they're like bracelet length, which i don't know if i totally love.

the scarf/mittens/hat were a christmas gift. i was in desperate need of a matching set! i don't totally love the little frillies at the end of the scarf - it's like a weird ruffle, but i guess i don't hate it. the whole set is just a little bit more bohemian than i wouldve liked. i do love the coat though, and i hope it gets approval! it has a little more poof to it at the bottom - my thumbs were in the pockets and seemed to have lessened some of the poof.

You NYE outfit is killer! You also have a great eye for statement necklaces, I love all the necklaces that you're wearing in these pictures.
I saw that coat Old Navy and really wanted to buy one but it didn't seem warm enough for our really cold winters. I hope you enjoy wearing it, it looks very cute on you.

The picture with your mixer is great. Cute outfit and you look like you've just given that mixer a workout. I got one last year and love it.

I love the burgundy sweater with the ruffle poking out, and your new dark wash denim jeans are really adding to all of your outfits, IMO.

Those are super outfits again. I think the one with your burguny sweater and the blue ruffly blouse stood out to me most. It's unexpected (well, I would never have thought of that;-) how you've combined the two colours and textures. You really have a knack for coming up with interesting combinations that work for you!

The green coat is amazing too!

It's a toss up between the outfit with the dress and the outfit with the burgundy sweater and blue ruffles for favorite. I love them all, and your green coat is so cheerful and unique!

bella - i'm actually in wisconsin and it's been pretty cold and snowy. but the jacket has kept me pretty warm. usually it's my arms/head/feet that get the coldest - my core stays pretty warm - so the jacket is perfect. not that i don't pull out my big carhardt jacket when it gets really cold and windy!

Greenglove - the shoes are not fabulous walking shoes - probably 2 hr shoes at most. but they are cute

Inge - yes it is a kitchenaid! steve was adamant about us someday having a kitchenaid, and i of course requested it be pink! he ended up getting it for me a bit earlier than expected!

Ana - the wedding plans are going well, thanks for asking. we are still looking for reception halls - we have a few good options so far. the practice dress im making is pretty much done - now i just have to save up some money to buy the official fabric...
