Ana - you are such a good friend and I can imagine how fun it must have been for both of you. Antje and I are planning on doing something similar. Of the stuff you listed under really need help with I would vote for ultimately getting rid of most of them other than the faux leather jacket which seems fine to me.

The BR wrap top seems a bit noisy. I think the cream ruched cami and striped BR top and velvet long cami don't allow Sarah's beautiful to come through in its full glory.

I'm torn about the puffer vest. I can actuall see it working with the right outfit. Something spunky.

Wow, Sarah, that's quite a few pictures you posed for! I'm amazed you looked so perky in them I get tired of being in front of the camera after a little while.

I like the BR wrap top and the jacket. The camis (cream ruched and velvet) just don't do justice to you. The striped BR top is alright but you can definitely do better. I like the puffer vest, but I'm a sporty type

What an effort you two put into this project! The only two items I felt were possibly keepers were the BR wrap top, which I think looks nice on you, and the cream ruched cami, which is a good color for you, Sarah, and also adds volume on top to balance your lower half.

I love my puffer vest...I wore it with a white and gray striped turtle neck last fall. But, as with the rest of this, if it isn't great, I don't want to keep it. I'd rather have less great than lots of okay.

I too suggest keeping the faux leather jacket. In the picture, it looks like a great item for this fall. What a great overhaul. I like the choices you made overall.

I really like the brown argyle sweater--I can see it worn with a tweed skirt, and knee high boots in the fall.

You live in Austin? How much use do you get out of a puffer vest? My initial reaction was to keep it for winter sports (it would make a great piece to wear snowboarding, on a dry day)--but you probably don't get to do much of that in TX.

I don't care much for the striped BR tank top/cami, and the crushed velvet tank. But I'm not a big fan of horizontal stripes or crushed velvet--so that's my personal issue. I remember you posted photos in the plaid top a while ago. I recall many YLFabbers liked it--how do you feel in it?

I think the issue with the BR wrap geometric top is that Sarah has lost more weight recently, and my feeling was that it was now too big, but we decided to post it here and see what everyone's opinion was.

Wow. You worked hard. I’m impressed. Here we go on the stuff you’re not sure of:

o Keep the BR wrap top as a layering piece for under a jacket. Same with the ruched cream cami. It’s perfect for under a biker jacket.
o I actually like puffer body warmers (as I call them). I even blogged about them! But this one does not do you justice. It’s too short, too horizontally puffy and un-tailored. But quite right. I’m not into anything that looks sporty. You know me well. Thanks for being a sport!

o The faux leather jacket is too wide in the sleeves. But other than that I love it.

Hooray Sarah! Your husband is going to be so happy about your BR wrap top! Have you tried it under your navy corduroy jacket? That might be nice.

I do like the BR wrap top, Nicole. I do think it is a tad big, but for my husband's sake (he loves this top) I'll keep it to transition into fall. By then it will be way to big anyway.
I am going to Seattle this Christmas and wore the puffer vest there last year several times. But again, if it isn't great, I won't keep it.
Ana and I liked the cream cami, but were very hesitant with the teal one. So that's in the give away pile for sure.
I think if I get some more jackets I probably won't need the pleather one. I have always liked the jacket except for the sleeves. They seemed odd. But if I don't get many jackets, I may hold on to it.

PS: I think it's funny that Ana posted the kittens on this list, as they unfortunately aren't keepers (five cats is just a bit much even for me). Cross your fingers that I'll find a good home for them!

What Fun! This takes me back to college life. My roomies and I had so much fun! It is hard to get rid of all the clothes you spent so much money on and time looking for, isnt' it? Thank goodness for ylf where we can get good advice. I really hope to have many fewer clothes and many more possibilities! Good luck.
