San's shopping spree with Angie, new glasses

What fun we had. Angie and I met for a sip of tea and then began our day by walking to Pike Place Market on the waterfront in Seattle. It was a glorious sunny Seattle day, perfect for spending with Angie. Angie is not kidding us when she says she puts miles in walking, and she is fast too. When she says a shoe is comfy, I know she has given it a true road test.
I found these frames with Angie's guidance.

Both of you look absolutely lovely, as expected. I LOVE the glasses she chose for you. The green swirling is so unique and fun. I wish Angie was there when I went glasses shopping. I ended up with quite a boring pair. What a fun day!

I did buy the ones I am wearing in the pic and they will be all mine in about 2 weeks after they are put together with my RX. Since I don't wear a lot of accessories these pretty frames will be my accessory.
Angie tried on frames to consider but didn't make a purchase. Angie does have a few pairs that she rotates and I'm not sure if she is considering another pair. If I was her I would not be able to resist that pair she is wearing because she is rocking them!

Oh, about the height. I was wearing my new Dansko's which make me a couple of inches taller than I am. I am 5'8".

San’s specs look even better in real life. Absolutely KILLER. There was a clear winner from the start which is always a good sign. You will LOVE them, Sandy! It’s too bad you have to wait for them. Show us the finished result! I’m so excited!

Angie's black and white designer dress is delicious for sure Bri. The way she wears it with style is all Angie. Angie did the belt come with the dress? I am really sorry I did not get a picture of the shoes you were wearing too Angie. They are killer! And walking on those cobblestone roads at a quick pace was a true test to the comfort. As a matter of fact, it is a great lesson to me to see Angie looking KILLER, going at a fast pace in the streets of Seattle. What a great example, don't wait for a party to wear your designer dress.
It was very cool to have Angie with me in the frames shop, guiding the process. I never would have made it through all of those frames without her. I absolutely love the frames and cannot wait to get them. They will be like my jewelry. I will definately post a picture when they are finished. Just knowing they are Angie approved makes me feel so confidant, but I also just love the frames and the pretty color.
Angie would put a pair she thought might work on my face and say things like, too droopy, too straight and bold across the brow, too wide, and then, just right.
If you cannot have Angie there to guide the process for you, I think the first step to success would be choosing a deluxe frame shop.

Bri, I bought the obi belt in Paris and it did not come with the dress. (Actually you can see enough of my shoes in the picture you posted in the other thread, San).

What fun! Both of you look amazing. San, I love the glasses that you ended up with! The teal detail is great! Angie, I think the first, more angular pair seems a bit more "you" even though I have a soft spot for bright red glasses.

I wish I'd been able to benefit from Angie's advice last time I bought new glasses frames. They are the MOST frustrating accessory to shop for!

Oh that's interesting, Angie! I have no eye for what is designer and what is not, I was wondering if it was maybe a Sweet Pea dress because of the pattern. I love the black and white swirls and how it's reminiscent of an animal print but more abstract.

I love obi belts like that!
