San and Angie at Club Monaco=FUN

One of our stops yesterday was Club Monaco. I love this store. I love their style and fit. Thankyou Angie for introducing me to Club Monaco.

Angie and I both came away with a cascading cardigan in dove grey. Angie also got a gorgeous, and "so Angie", dress and skirt.

Angie is an impossible act to follow but here goes. I got the same cascading cardigan in the dove grey and royal blue. I also got the micro check pants in my proper size which is a 2, and some grey skinny jeans which fit and feel great.

The ECCO flats I picked up at Nordstrom's and they stay on my feet. I have had problems with flats that slip off my heel in the past. These are called Coto Ballerina flats, by Ecco.

We passed a small boutique and Angie stopped in her tracks spying a beautiful milky white bag. The shop attendant was out for a few minutes so we dilly dallied and waited, then went to Club Monaco. Angie was so nice in saying let's walk back down the hill to that boutique, the attendant must be back by now, so I was able to purchase a beautiful bag for a GREAT price. I have not taken a pic of it yet, so will do that and post in another thread.

I also came home with a black and white knit Ann Taylor dress to wear over leggings or on it's own, and the perfect denim jacket from POV dept in Nordstrom's. All of these things are mix and match, and when I receive my new glasses (see glasses thread) they will be my new accessory.
Thankyou Angie for a wonderful, adventurous day.

P.S. Angie knows where to find the best pastries in Seattle!!!!

Angie loves the Mod style of the '60's and I thought this dress she chose relected her taste perfectly. Isn't it beautiful on her. Talk about a killer figure!!!!

That royal blue is such a beautiful colour on you San, but I love the grey cardigan just as much. Glad you found the right size in the micro check pants too.

The outfit with the grey jeans is perfection. You look so stylish and comfortable at the same time.

I tried that same CM dress on awhile ago (and many other items). Unfortunately it seems CM is cut for tall slim gals... when I would size up to fit horizontally, the length would be all wrong for someone only 5'0. I really wish they'd offer petites - I loved all the clothes.

Ann Taylor has a very similar cascading cardigan - and they offer it in petites. I tried it on this weekend but it wasn't my look. Seemed too long, even in the petite version. Oh well! I will live vicariously through you two.

Awe you're all so nice, and you crack me up.
The cardi's were a bit expensive at $89 but they are a very light weight wool, polyester and cashmere, and very well made.
There were some nice looking cascading cardigans at ann Taylor for $29 but out of our size at the time. Also Angie and I both fell in love with the dove grey of the Club Monaco cardi.

Oh, I love this post. You both look so gorgeous, and such great purchases! That cardigan looks so good on you, San. I have a similar one (in shape and colour) that is a lot more casual, as it's a marl jersey fabric. I love it- I hope you will love this one just as much!

I like Angie's dress, too- it's SO her. I think my favourite is the white skirt, though. Such a nice texture.

I'm so jealous, I want a YLF get-together!
