Roundish/square toe - hopelessly out of date?

I have very fussy feet and was looking for some casual ALL DAY type ankle boots. I found some Aersole booties that are SO, sooo, comfy - like slippers almost. But, the toes are a rounded square that I know is not a super on-trend shape.
They are these boots, in black suede.
I have a couple "Rag&Bone-style" boots (with an almond toe) that I wear when wanting to be stylish/dressier ... but for everyday in our very casual and not-very-stylish town --- are these too awful?
Let me say that I do think that the black suede "masks" a bit of the unstylish shape as it somehow seems less obvious than it is in leather and in the other colorways.
Thoughts? Please be honest!

I know what you mean, Tierra. FWIW, Annagybe has a pair of light blue Acne boots that have a squared toe and they look current the way that she wears them. Right now, I feel like (to my eye) the square toe looks current when paired with moto styling. And I think a square toe moto boot is a classic. If you wear them with edgier clothing these will probably read as current. If you pair them with more conservative or everyday styles, they might read as dated.

Toe shapes are hard. If you have a sugar eye for a style, it will always seem a little current because you'll be able to find it in stores and you'll be able to find a few examples of it styled well. (I know. I have a sugar eye for pointy toes. I may give them up for a span, but as soon as they are a fringe trend, I find them.) When a shape isn't (sorry!) squarely on trend, it just takes more work. I think these would take more work. However, I think you could make them work.

K. Period. - yes, toe shapes ARE hard. I have square toe Frye engineer boots that, trend-wise, feel just fine. As you said, classic. But I can't wear them for long w/o foot pain.
These Aerosoles are a bit different as they are booties, just plain, no "moto-ish" tendencies. I'm in my 40s but I try to be current. These would be worn with my distressed boyfriends or rolled relaxed skinnies.

A style blogger I love, Lilli at Frocks & Frou Frou, wears these exact boots with tights & dresses and sometimes with jeans, though her style is more twee--she's not really a rolled relaxed skinnies girl, when she wears jeans it's for some vavavoom. They read very 60s mod & fresh on her, not dumpy but pleasingly retro.

I'm watching with interest because I'm usually pushing the envelope on wearing bigger toe box than msy be trending, and trying to see how I can adjust the rest of the outfit to make it look more intentional.
I'm wondering also if amping up an edgy component elsewhere, and what are some good ideas for that,
or doing Sporty Luxe or something, is the ticket.

I think they read classic enough that if the rest of your outfit is current, they will work. They have a bit of a chelsea boot shape which is great. (I have a sugar eye for all and any chelsea boots!!)

More thanks to all ... I really appreciate the advice! I am so glad that everyone thinks these will work ok, because every time I try them on my feet just go "ahhhhhhhhh", lol!

Cristin - thanks for that blogger link! I like the way she wears these booties. She's so cute! However, yes - almost the exact opposite of my style. I am not at all cute, but more RATE and maybe even a smidge edgy. I wear a lot of neutrals and black and JEANS, lots of jeans.
unfrumped - yes, bigger toe boxes FTW! Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. I'm miserable if my feet are unhapppy.

I should probably get over myself and start posting photos here as I know it would help with my style journey in general. I am just a little shy and as a working mom of two active boys, also simply do not have time for photos most days. Plus, I work from home and sometimes default to uber-casual (def not photo worthy!). But I am a regular reader here as I have been trying to up my style game a bit.

I think they are a classic shape- definitely not dated. To me they are quite a neutral bootie that could be worn in a few ways. If they are comfortable and you have difficulty finding shoes that work for them I would get them, I think they would be a real workhorse.
