revisiting the laptop bag

I just noticed that Macys is having a big sale on laptop bags. I know that some of you ladies were discussing this awhile back, so I thought I'd post it here:

I also saw this company in the most recent issue of Lucky: https://www.karab.com/index.php?lang=english&page=products

Lucky highlighted the Delancey bag, which I almost bought until I realized that it doesn't say the laptop case is padded. Since I take my laptop on my bike, I definitely need the padding!

Another blog I read had a post about laptop bags recently (hope that's ok to post here): http://workitmom.com/bloggers/workingcloset/

They were from Kolobags (http://www.kolobags.com/index.php) and some of them were really cute! They also have padded laptop sleeves which I assume you could put into a non-padded bag? I thought it was neat that you can display only bags that will fit a certain size laptop. I haven't yet decided if I can fit all my stuff in an actual laptop bag, but I'm considering getting one.

I saw padded laptop sleeves at H&M of all places! I think they were red patent, looked quite spiffy. You could use that in a regular tote.

I myself recently bought this bag, which is a rolling laptop bag, since I travel occasionally: http://www1.macys.com/catalog/.....ryID=27698 I love love love that bag, it is so sleek looking (I have the red one) and it rolls very well. Perfect for anyone who travels to conferences, through airports etc., especially at this great price.
