Finding the items you need at the right price

Red sandals

My beloved red privo flats have bitten the dust. They are sooo flat from all the wear and tear that they just tear up my feet now. I've decided to replace them with some red sandals and have had a terrible time trying to find some that would be flattering. I'm trying to find some that have a lower vamp (since I have somewhat thicker ankles) to elongate my leg line. I also want something with about 1" - 1 1/2" inch heels. It has to be somewhat sturdy to allow for chasing after two active pre-school boys.

I like the looks of this one:

but ideally, I'd prefer not to have a thong sandal (and a lower price point would be nice too). Anyone have any good suggestions? Thanks!

I have an option in Friday's post, but I can let the cat out the bag earlier if you like?

Oh! I like the Ann Klein, Kenneth Cole, and the last ones Ana posted. So great.

Just a thought (because I am struggling with the same decision in grey). Purchased some very cute greyish Clark sandals with heels. However would I be smarter to buy same shade shoes that are more of a shoe and less of a sandal to stretch my wearing options season wise?

Angie, I can wait until Friday but if you're willing to let the cat out, I'm all for that as well!

Ana, thanks for all the links. I've got to run the boys outside to work off some energy before we break the mid 90s today but I'll comment a little more later. Thanks!!
