Hi all! I just bought a cotton sateen red Calvin Klein pencil skirt. It is very plain, side zip, 2 slits on the sides and comes to right above my knees. I really like it, and I want to figure out a way to wear it smart casual rather than smart smart, because it could easily be very dressy. I was thinking a crisp white shirt, untucked, with a thicker black patent belt and either white, black, or nude pumps. I made an outfit on polyvore:

It is not a high waist skirt like the one on the picture, it's just that was the only red pencil skirt I could find. I am thinking of buying that exact shirt, though, which is the kensington shirt from J. Crew:

What do you all think? Any other ways I could wear a red pencil skirt in a more casual way?
