1) Wore this the day before we got snow.

2) Wore to a child's birthday party and an afternoon of outlet shopping for hubby. Surprisingly, I only bought myself underwear.

3) Wore Saturday to celebrate an early Valentine's with my hubby. We had a nice dinner and saw True Grit. Wow, what a great movie! Has anyone seen it? I haven't seen the John Wayne version yet.
ETA: This is my first pair of non-neutral tights. They're eggplant colored. They make me happy!

Really fab! I like the first two looks best, and I really like the skirt in #3.
I haven't seen True Grit because it isn't in the cinemas yet. But it was the opening film for the Berlinale that is right now taking place and the reviews were great, so I want to see it.

I continue my obsession with striped tops and your version is just fantastic! #1 looks super cozy and cheery, and I think #3 is perfect for "True Grit" without being the least bit costumey! A+ from me for the whole set!

Great outfits! Have you tried rolling the sleeves of the jacket? I do this w/ my denim jackets for a more edgy casual look.

I love all of these, AJ! That deep orange sweater is so fab on you, the striped top look is perfect stylish casual, and the third look is really great too! I really like the fuller skirt with the denim jacket, and the booties look cute!

I saw True Grit recently and absolutely looved it, though I am a true blue Coen brothers fan (and Jeff Bridges fan), so they can do no wrong in my book.

MaryK - I have always been a fan of stripes. When I saw this one with the shoulder stripes in the diagonal direction and a slight a-line fit, I knew it was meant for my IT shape.

Elly and Becky - I was really surprised how tall I looked with with the chambray shirt and my jeans in a similar hue. I'm going to have to remember that visual trick especially on my more apple-ish days. Hee-hee!

LuAnn - Yes, I usually roll my jacket sleeves when I'm indoors but I guess I was in a hurry to get this pics done and I forgot. : )

I didn't realize until after I posted this that my skirt outfit does look a bit western and went with my watching True Grit. I promise I didn't plan that. LOL!
