Descriptions of your daily ensembles

Some recent outfits:
1. very casual school outfit- the cardi is a much richer purple.

2. another school outfit- a design class-not as messy- is the blazer too boring?

3. Church:

4. another teaching outfit, I started out wearing patterned hose and realized that they would snag because of all the moving and setting up I do, leggings are much sturdier for art class. I also am really running hot these days(hormones!!). I am amazed at how hot I get and need to wear sleeveless things to this class sometimes.

5. outfit with jacket: the jacket is a sage green

6. same outfit with new jacket, not sure if it works with skirts. What do you think??
I have not worn this yet.
I would probably add a scarf and maybe different tights

You look fabulous Jean. All of your outfits are so great. No the blazer is not boring. With those patterned hose it is good to have a more simply designed blazer.
Your photos are so much better now. You must have got yourself a tripod for your camera.

Jean, I love them all. Great looks! I don't think the blazer is too boring, I agree with San. The contrast of the classic blazer with the patterned hose is fun.

I love your necklace (or multiple necklaces?) in the church outfit.

You look amazing Jean! I love all the outfits, especially 4/5. No, that blazer is not boring at all, it is very pretty actually.

You must be the coolest art teacher EVER! I bet your students adore you. :) Amazing outfits.

Wow! I love all your outfits. The colors you choose are so rich and pretty, and really play up your gorgeous red hair. I love the patterned hose, but I understand what you mean about snagging them. I think my favorite outfit is the sleeveless black top with the denim skirt and leggings and boots.

I'm not sure if the jacket works with that skirt. You're so tall (or, you look so tall), that you may be able to get away with it. I'll have to defer to Angie or someone else who could tell better. I love the jacket on you though. Have you decided to keep it?

Thanks Ana, yes I am keeping it. I don't know about wearing it with the skirt but it will be useful with jeans which I wear so often.

#4 was my favorite outfit of the bunch too.

Wow Jean - each outfit is amazing. I cannot start to list the things I love about them all and I can't pick a favourite. I really like your multi chain gold necklace though - that whole outfit is vavavoom but in a nice lowkey way!!

You can give your photographer a raise! What a smashing job he’s doing.

Jean, you look sensational every day. I love how you stick to your earthy colour palette and thifty budget and come out looking like a million bucks. A true inspiration for us all. And even though I think you can cut your hair shorter, never go short! Your long red hair is so much part of your arty look. I don’t think you need shorter hair – just answering your quezzie from another thread here!

Amazing and very inspirational. You are always so true to your style and very practical at the same time. I love the pictures - they do so much more justice to your outfits, especially the palette. The new jacket for example - it's nice to see the color and the button details.

Looking like the coolest teacher I have ever seen:) Very nice!

I love your colour combinations and your fearless approach to trying new styles. I think your wear mid rinse denim so very well and your new jacket is fabulous.

Every time I see your outfits, Jean, I am reminded again and again, how beautiful earthy tones are. I try to incorporate them more into my color palette. You look fantastic, and you certainly know how to wear those pesky mid-calf boots. I am taking notes...

I am again admiring how well the colors in your outfit complement your hair and skin. My fav is outfit #4/5. I think it works with leggings!

Love your new coat, but I'm not sure about the proportions with skirts. Can you show us a picture with pants?

so pretty! My favorite is #1!

Oh! Another batch of fabulousness. Those patterned tights are smashing! Too bad they aren't too practical for your classes, but that does make sense. I, like many others, really like outfit 4. I don't think the new (but very lovely) jacket works with the skirt. I'm not sure it wouldn't work with another style skirt, though. It might be all wrong for skirts generally but I feel like the thing a bit off with this particular look is that both skirt and jacket are quite rectangular. Breaking up the rectangle with a ruffle, trumpet, or something like that might help.

Hi Greenglove, I love it when you post because it is always so inspiring!

My faves are:
the first outfit with the yellow shirt,
the fourth outfit with the denim skirt, leggings and belt
the sixth outfit with that gorgeous double breasted jacket - that color is absolutely beautiful on you!
