Yes, I am a big planner. No, we are not yet having spring weather. But I am ready to go when we do!

I was really happy with my wardrobe for fall/winter. And I currently have 20 winter outfits hanging in my closet in case it stays cold all month!

Now, in my off season closet, I have put together a spring "capsule". I use the word loosely because it's larger than what others use as a capsule.

I included 12 bottoms, 18 tops and 10 pairs of shoes. (There are quite a few new items in the group.) I didn't put any limit on the number of bags and accessories. And there are no rules about the clothing either- I'm free to choose from the "non capsule" stuff too! But pulling a limited number of things together really helped me see how much is "enough." For outfits, I started with pairing each top with both a light and a dark bottom. A lot of the capsule really does mix and match well.

I wear much brighter colors for warm weather but it is still a fairly limited palette. I wanted to add some ice blue but haven't found any garments that were right, but I did order 2 necklaces with different shades of blue from Anthro that I think will work with my citron tops.

After feeling pretty minimalist in my choice of outfits for quite a while, lately I am enjoying adding a scarf or necklace. I still tend to prefer solids over prints so I like to add interest with shine or texture either in the garment itself or an added accessory.

I've included some photos of my capsule, showing tops, bottoms and shoes.

One of the pictures shows what might be my favorite sandals ever, the lace up ones. They are Kelsi Dagger in a color called desert gray. I don't like really bare sandals and I've always liked lace up styles so in this neutral color I think I will wear them a lot.

Anyone else eager for spring??
