I was doing laundry today and have noticed yellowish stains on the top sides of all my white shirts and a white blazer collars. At first I could not figure out what would have caused them but now I begin to think if collar popping is causing it? Dies anybody else have this problem with shirt collars?
I have attached a picture - not very good but I marked the places where this yellowish stains are.
I washed them - did not work. I soaked them in oxi clean - did not work. Now I am soaking one shirt in the bleach to see if it helps. Any ideas what else can be done to get rid of those stains and how to prevent them in the first place?
ETA: Reporting back: soaking collars in warm water with bleach seems to remove the stains - YAY!
