question about boots???

Here is the thing, I bought these great boots in Scotland that you have seen:

They are the perfect color for me and I think go well with both pants and skirts because they slouch a bit.
However, the sole is rather thin and they will not be my commute, get me through rough weather boot. I have black boots but am in love with this color because of the whole match your hair thing, etc. I found these boots on endless-

Question- could I wear these with skirts, I know they are not perfectly snug but could the style work? If not, do you like them for pants?. Keep in mind this color is very rare to find. Tan boots will be a mess in this climate.

For me this is a case of seeing the boots with a skirt before knowing if it works. I certainly hope it does because they are so beautiful and such a perfect color for you. I love the Miz Mooz styles.
Recently I read that leg warmers under boots is an option. Those might take up some of the roominess of the boots around the leg and add texture and color if desired. I think that is an interesting option to play around with.

This is a perfect color for you! I'll leave the question of shaft size to others. We may find more of this color and grey in boots this year...I hope. What I've not seen so far are many flat boots unless they are ugg-ish.

I actually do not mind if they do not work with skirts, I could just wear with tucked in pants - I am in love with the color!! I will post with a skirt later.
