I love your outfit and think the proportions of the skirt slightly above the knee with the slouch boots is A1. With this outfit I would probably wear brown textured tights.

I'm a big fan of knee high boots with pencil skirts. It just looks really polished and cute. I've also never been able to pull off slouchy boots, so perhaps I discriminate :-) Haha.

I love the outfit. The jacket looks beautiful, esp. with that scarf. I second Julie's thought about the tights. But it does seem to me that the skirt is a tad too short. You could absolutely pull it off, but I think ideally a little longer would be great with your height.

Perfect 10! I love the outfit, and your figure looks amazing. You can add some texture with patterned tights in the same color. I think the skirt is the perfect length (and fit) for those funky boots. You got the body for it. :-)

I also agree.. the proportion seems right to me, the boots are lovely. You can use it with opaque brown tights, pattern brown tights, or other tights similiar to the color of your boots (I think it is better when the tights matches the shoes)

Wearing the skirt or frock shorter makes all the difference. In fact, my frocks are even a little shorter with this look.

I think I like the look it but sort of wish the skirt was a bit longer, I think my knees look weird.
Too late to take back the skirt, I will trust you that it looks looks ok.
Do you like the jacket? I have not worn it much but it is making a come back this fall.
I know that patterned tights would work but what about really opaque ones? I sometimes feel more comfortable in them with shorter skirts and have been seeing a lot of that look this fall.

Jean, go try these boots on with a longer skirt. Tell me if you think the proportions are off. To me, mid-calf boots need to be worn with a shorter skirt to lengthen the leg line.
