I've been on the hunt for a "me" wedding dress to get married in. This Adrianna Pappel dress is the best I've found so far.

What do you think?

It's a long, purply-pewter shade (gunmetal) with a mesh overlay and mesh flutter sleeves. High neckline in back but moderately deep scoop neck in front. Same-shade ribbon built in at natural waist (not a sash with a bow.) It has sequins and beads sewn in all over, heaviest at top of dress, fading to a floral pattern below natural waist and getting sparser toward the thigh. The lowest half of the dress just has a few scattered sparklies. It's very flattering at the bustline and natural waist. The mesh moves nicely, and it is a bit long in these pics, though I am barefoot. I think I'll wear 1.5-2" heels with it.

What shoes/ accessories and flowers? How do you plan to do your hair?

(Snap it up while you can, is my advice. If you don't wear it for the wedding itself, you might wear it for a fancy event around the wedding.)

Note: I'm barefoot, I think it will look better in heels.

Suz, not sure on hair. I'm growing it out into a slightly more chin length angled bob but can't and won't put it up. I think I'll forego glasses and wear low heels. No veil.

Nice! I like her dresses. But I don't have formal events in my life, ever, so there are no other foreseeable opportunities to wear this. If I find something better I'll return this one.

Michelle, I think I'm going to get the Kiyonna dress for semi formal stuff, as I'll be a guest at a few weddings between this summer and next. I think it's a little less formal than what I want to get married in but I really want to rock the dress! I am planning to get the same color as you have.

Just adding another voice to the chorus of Wows! And for flowers, may I suggest either white Phalenopsis (Moth) orchids or a simple sheaf of mixed black (amethyst) and white calla lilies for more of that Old Hollywood glam?
