I decided I would try a few plush vest iterations, both gold and black.

The first one is my closest copy to what's in the ensemble: the J Crew plush fleece vest, Paige skinny jeans, Madewell belt, Madewell black and white checked courier shirt, green Johnston & Murphy flats, a non-matching but also green Tory Burch satchel, and green Krewe sunglasses. Note - this vest is a size small, my usual J Crew size. You can see how it fits zipped and unzipped. Even though this is not really a fitted piece, I think if I sized down it would be tight on my hips.

The next is the same J. Crew vest, J. Crew leopard twinset, black Paige skinny jeans and J. Crew leopard loafer flats, for that print max-out.

Then there's a shot of the vest with J. Crew wide leg cropped trousers. (Will post about these separately.) Old J. Crew burgundy Tippi sweater, J Crew / Drakes small scarf, red Zara boots. The vest and the trousers are a good color match but there's too much bulk with a non fitted long vest over this shape of pants.

I like the vest, though I was struggling a bit to arrange my hair around it.

Finally, I have a black faux fur vest that my mom gave me for Christmas a couple of years ago. Here it is worn with a black Equipment bow blouse with star print, DVF lace pencil skirt from a previous NAS, pink Topshop boots (Angie's look was all black but I was lazy to go get more shoes from over by the back door where I keep them). One of the black looks is with a studded Emerson Fry belt (looking overly chunky) and one without the belt.

Sorry, but I idon'thave Finds for everything. ETA: I put the glasses in Finds because BJ was asking about them.
