Good morning,

Angie and Greg have asked me to take over Link Love, and of course I said yes! So as from this week I'll be writing the Link Love blog posts and starting these weekly threads. The concept remains the same, but because of the time difference, I'll be starting the threads on Monday and will close them on Tuesday evening, so we can still get the posts out on time.

So, without further ado: have you come across anything interesting this week, ladies? And as always: one link per forum member and a short blurb about why you think it's worth having a look.

I enjoyed reading this interview with bag designer Monika Botkier in the Wall Street Journal.

Like her suggestions for how to pick out a bag for the office - very practical. I have one of her bags, too, and really like it.

I actually came across this over a month ago and have been waffling about whether to post, but here goes.

I enjoy this feature on Faboverfifty.com called "what do you think of this look." The reason this one was meaningful to me, is that I thought this woman looked pretty fantastic albeit in a very fashion-forward way. What shocked me, though, was the nasty comments from other fab over fifty ladies. I mean, there were some nice comments too, but the response from this community made me appreciate YLF so much more. I love that we try to keep things positive and when we have a constructive comment to make, we try to do it with kindness. No one enforces these rules on YLF, but everyone seems to stick to them all the same!

Oh and Inge, I have a suggestion. Instead of posting the title of the weekly links as "weekly link love," what would you think of a title that reflected some of the great content in the links, to pique everyone's interest? Might get a couple more people reading this feature. The title would change every week, of course, so it's a little more thinking work for you as the writer, but it also might make it more fun for you.

I've bookmarked this link to share it with everyone when convenient as I came across it quite some time ago.

I think the entire comment next to the photograph is a proper food for thought, something that Angie is a great ambassador of - beauty and/or style are not limited (or are property) of the young only.

I was very excited to find a blog dedicated to narrow-shaft boots! I love how her reviews include measurements and her opinion on what calf size will fit the boots best, even if they are still to big for her.
