Playing dress up with clogs

Here's some outfits with the clogs do any of them work? They are all typical everyday outfits x

ETA The dress in 2 is shorter than I would normally wear it's just to see if they work with dresses and I'd have a proper top with 3 and 4 not my vest!!!!

I like everything but the leggings. I can't figure out exactly why, though. Maybe if the leggings were capri length, or is that evil?

I like them best with the leggings, but i think it's because the scarf is a bit dark and ties in the black of the clogs. I feel like the other outfits are all too light in color to work with the black clogs, but might work if you added a note of black somewhere else.

I think everything would work as long as black is repeated somewhere else in the outfit. (Not that I would know.)

AG I think leggings are OK at any length?
Ornella the dress was from Marks & Spencer 2 summers ago and the scarf is H&M from Christmas
Ticksgirl and Scarlet ~ repeating the black makes total sense x

I love these clogs! They are gorgeous! I like them with everything; they seem very versatile. I think since your hair is dark-ish that helps to bookend them, even if you don't wear another black element (though a second black element never hurts :).

What great outfits! I especially love the leggings. I agree with the group - I love the clogs and I love the outfits but I think they look best when tied in with something else dark.

Love them with the leggings, Louise. I think that'y my fave. They do seem versatile because they work with everything. You're making me think I "need" a pair for spring too.

Hmmm...I'm not sure about the leggings. I think my eyes have to adjust to the whole clog look in general. However, I do think it looks good with the other items.

I think they'll work with all the types of items you tried them with. I would also like to see the leggings be a bit shorter so there's a little more skin showing, would help offset the chunkiness of the clog. Repeating black would mainly be necessary with outfits that are all light colors (like in #3); without something darker the clogs look too heavy to me. I think you'll be able to wear them with lots of looks!

Angie I love you and your spanners! Brown or tan are options I hadn't considered, I'm not much of a brown girl (though I never say never) but tan rather appeals. I shall be kissing the UGGs goodbye and continuing my search x

I prefer 1 and 4.
Number 3 is too summer for black clogs, but it would be lovely for nude clogs!

Thanks for being a sport, Louise. I would not be doing my job if I didn't say it how it is. Rute and I are on the same wavelength here - your clogs would look prettier and would also be more versatile if they were less contrasting with your skin tone. Onto tan clogs!
