I personally never had any *known* preconceived ideas about the color pink. Yes. I did understand that pink was associated with baby girls, but that was about as far as my brain took it. That is why I was always surprised when other women (and some men) had such strong (and usually negative) associations with the color. I always wondered what they were seeing when they looked at the color pink.

I came across this article today: http://www.anothermag.com/desi.....ntext-pink. The first sentence in the first paragraph puts this subject into context for me. I'm not sure how I missed this growing up, but I did. Is it possible that having worn a navy/green uniform stunted my imagination?

I should add that pink is my happy color. I feel my absolute best wearing pink and Angie's ensemble from last Friday made me swoon.
