And now for something completely different...

Very good friends of Angie and I are the creators of a nice photo journalling app called "Timebox". Like us, they are a couple who run their own business. Len is a programmer (one of the original developers of Lotus Notes, which some people might know) and Mary Ellen has a background in library and information science. They are both PASSIONATE about helping people to better organize their memories by creating photo stories, and by putting those photo stories on digital (ebook) and physical mementos, including books and even a laser etched cube.

The app is free (iPhone and iPad). There are things you can buy, like the ability to sync all your photos onto their server, and the physical mementos I mentioned (ebooks are free). They don't do any ads, and all the data is private. Plus: there's a little bit of YLF in the app because about a year ago I helped with a redesign of the app and I re-used some of the same textures that are in this version of YLF.

If you give it a try, I would love to know what you think (both the good and the bad). Here is the website: http://www.timeboxapp.com/

There is a short video that does a better job than me of explaining the features.

I think many YLF'ers would enjoy an app like Timebox. For one thing, I can imagine someone using it to document outfits. I also know Len and Mary Ellen would get huge benefit from the kind of thoughtful feedback you have given Angie and I about new features on YLF.
