Packing list

Here's what I'm packing, let me know what I've missed:

Pants:
- 2 pairs UO skinny jeans
- 2 pairs clams (in case I find the 85 degree weather too unbearable for long pants)

Tops:
- as many nice short sleeve/sleeveless silky tops as I can fit... more than the number of days, in case I want to change because I get too sweaty

Layers:
- two black cropped cardis ... fit easily in my handbag for when outside; color will go with all my tops.
- boyfriend jacket... for nights out
- F21 pleather moto jacket... probably will also fit into my handbag. It is pretty lightweight.
- Paris jacket

Dresses:
- V-neck wrap LBD
- ponte knit sheath LBD
... because both these can dress up or down for day/night.

Shoes:
- Me-Too Zebra flats: 8+ hour shoes
- Me-Too silver flats: 8+ hour shoes
- red suede pumps: if we go out at night
- will wear my SW snake-skin cap-toes on the plane. They are not the best to walk in all day long, more like 4-hour shoes. But they look really good with the LBDs so I want that option.

Jewelry/accessories:
- silver and pearl theme
- wide belt

handbag:
- white hobo bag (big enough to tote everything during the day; also comfy to carry)
- cream clutch

Basically I have a white/black/silver/pop of color theme going on, which makes it easy. I think all of it mixes and matches endlessly.

I decided against taking more than two bags, because I am thinking I may purchase one in Hong Kong.

On the fence about packing my chestnut Star Ling's... to wear with the LBDs?

Thoughts?

That's a comprehensive list Shiny! Yet there are no skirts, are your more comfortable in dresses and trousers? Your colour scheme sounds timeless and chic. Do you have a baggage allowance to consider?

Yes, I'm much more comfortable in dresses and trousers, due to my menopausal belly. :-)

Will it be rainy? Do you have a good coat for rain?

Yikes, I just checked the weather and it's going to be in the mid to upper 80's (with some rain). Maybe you want to take your S&K trench? Do you want to trade out one jeans or clams for another dress or two. Especially if they are lightweight, they wouldn't take up any room at all! But of course, you'll do some shopping there too so maybe you'll end up buying some fab dresses, right???

From what we've read, if it rains, it's local and it passes pretty quickly. Chime in, anyone, if we've read wrong!

I did an awesome job packing - used a rolling method. I could probably throw more stuff in there without sacrificing anything. I even fit in the boots, and my short-sleeve BR suit jacket. Maybe I should add more dresses? I just fear my dresses are more summery? And even if the weather is summer-like, it's fall. So it IS a dilemma!

Maybe I'll toss in the red ATL wrap dress, turquoise cardi, and cropped leggings.... but it's an outfit that just seems summery to me ?

In the time this was posting I threw in the red dress, turquoise cardi, cropped leggings, and a raincoat. I still have a pinch more room...at least for non-bulky lightweight stuff.

Any suggestions?

Oh! For the plane, I've settled on the gray ponte knit pants, silver Me-Toos, grey plaid puff sleeve silk BR blouse, and black boyfriend cardi. With a cropped cardi tucked in my carry-on, in case I want to swap out once we get there. I figure the BF cardi is a good choice in case the plane is frigid cold! The silk blouse is probably a mistake (DH thinks so) but it is super comfy and doesn't seem to wrinkle... so I'm going to risk it.

Your travelling look sounds fabulous to me Shiny, I remember you saying your feet swell on the plane, are your Me Toos the best shoes for that? I hope you have a wonderful time!
