Outfits from this week - Friday inspired by Angie's post yesterday

Thanks to Angie's awesome post yesterday regarding adding a pop of color over a black turtleneck - I used her tip for my Friday outfit.

The rest of the week was not as fab, and Monday was a downright FASHION DON'T! I guess that is the nice thing about photos...they don't lie (well, unless someone at Ralph Lauren photoshops the heck out of it!)

Also, I styled my hair a little different on Friday...

Monday- definitely untuck the top
Tuesday- Love the pink in scarf which ties the outfit together
Wednesday- Very autumnal (fall) is the jacket velvet? it has a fab sheen
Thursday- my least favourite not sure why

Terrific week - I especially like Wednesday & Friday. Agree with you on Monday. Yes, this picture taking business is so helpful, isn't it!!! If it weren't for the fact that I am always rushing out the door with an urchin or two in two, I would take pics of all my outfits!

Susan, nice! My favorites are Thursday and Friday. I think I had a similar reaction to one of your last outfit posts with a jean jacket - you just look great in a jean jacket. And Friday, WOW! It's fab.

I agree as well that the Friday hair styling suits you. I like it a lot.

Love Tuesday through Friday (great skirt!). Monday would have been a two-thumbs-up with the shirt untucked for a lean line but you still get kudos for the great color combo!

Louise - yep, it is a wine colored velvet. It was a great find and I hope to get much wear from it this winter.

I can't believe I even posted the photo of the Monday outfit - I just knew it looked horrible. I had tried on the outfit the day before and took photos of it with the cardigan and also a cropped jean jacket. Why I decided on Monday a.m. to tuck the shirt is beyond me! And I just love that skirt too...the entire thing looked dreadful!

Yes, the Friday outfit was by far my favorite too, I felt so happy in it!

Thanks for all the compliments on my "less helmet-like" hair!

You are so cute and a great poser! Your smile is beautiful. You look great in your skirt and boots with jacket outfits. These look great for autumn. I don't think Monday's was so bad. I would not have thought anything like that if I saw you on the street. The skirt is beautiful but the top may have looked better untucked. I guess I am the type that has to see it before I know if it is right. Don't think that you were running around scaring anyone on Monday though. You look beautiful always. It's that beautiful smile that shows a warm and friendly personality.
I do like your hair in the more tossled look on Friday.
