Outfits for Easter? - YouLookFab Forum

DH and I will be heading to NJ to spend Easter with family. Here are some outfits I had in mind for Easter dinner, all with the same pants and flat shoes. Heels are out of the question, as I have yet another foot surgery coming up soon and my black heels hurt my new surgery foot, plus I'll be playing with a 5 yr. old and a 1 yr. old for most of the afternoon. A no-fuss outfit will be the order of the day!

#1 - With a navy top from Zara. Not sure if I like the black with navy.
#2 - Windowpane pants and a top with animal print trim. Not sure if I like all the black with my pale complexion.
#3 - With a pink pullover
#4 - The same pullover in cream (matches the color in the pants)
#5 - Wild & crazy, tucked (drapey faux leather lapel cardi, Diana has the same one)
#6 - WIld & crazy, untucked

Any favorites or any suggestions?

3 - I vote 3!! - love the pale pink with the black windowpane pants - looks comfy and the pale pink whispers spring to me!! you should be easily able to chase kids in that combo!!

#2 and #6 are my faves on you, as I love the interest added by the different patterns plus the addition of white. I see what you mean about #2 though, but if the shirt collar were perhaps a little lighter/bigger, it would better buffer the transition. Love the big polka dot blouse!

EDIT: ...but then, I have a black and white bias

I am partial to #2, though they are all excellent. I love how the leopard print peeks out from under your sweater!

If you're going to do a primarily dark outfit, #2 gets my vote (so chic!). I also like the cream pullover option.

Karie, you are making it too hard to choose! I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. I love the blush sweater and also the pattern mixing in 5 and 6. What great pants - how do they look with the new blazer ?

I like 5/6 best and would add a belt to the tucked version to finish it...maybe white or pink. 1&2. Look too dark for Easter to me, but that's just one opinion. You look pretty and polished.

They all look good to me, but I'm partial to #2 (love the leopard print) and #5/6. #5/6 strikes me as springier because of the white and the polka dots are so cheery!

Pil, I think the new blazer would look really good with this, but I don't dare...not with a 1 yr. old around!

I'll be back later to read responses, busy packing for trip #1 to Long Island (NJ is trip #2). It was 77 F yesterday, and right now it's snowing! Crazy weather - I don't if I should pack for spring or winter!

Whoa, those pants are genius. Love! My fave is #2, and I'm not even an animal print person -- but this is so pulled together and everything flows. I respect your feelings about the black, but the animal print and v-neck interrupt the black near your face for me. And echoes the little toe caps of your flats nicely.

That said, I could also see how #5 reads Easter. With those awesome pants, I don't think you can go wrong. I hope you have fun!
