Outfits and New Things!

Finally, I've made use of my "fashion" blog! I'd really love some input on the dress. Is it too casual to wear to a wedding? I'd ideally like to pair it with some sassy heels and accessories--something a little more trendy than plain pumps, but nothing that will overwhelm the dress, which is already a fairly busy print. Also, I grabbed the Target jacket that Sarah recommended and I love it. I hope you like as well.

What do you all think?

Wow. Wowwowwow. Love the dress. I would totally wear that to a day-time wedding. Love the shoes you paired it with too, but think some of your other ideas would be fun as well.
The jacket looks great! Of course I'm biased, though. Mine actually fits me right at the elbow. How tall are you? Could you fold it up to the elbow and see what you think of it?
The purple-ish top is stunning, as is the necklace. And what fun shoes.
You are uber stylish and too cute.

Haha, way to make me blush! Those shoes are by Dolce Vita. They've never actually made it out of my house (while on my feet) but I'm thinking this might be a good chance to wear them, even though I'm itching to buy a pair of fun, bright colored heels.

I'm 5'4, and to be honest, I don't even know where that comes from! I'm short torso-ed and short legged, so it's no surprise to me that the sleeves are shorter on you. I haven't tried folding them up, but I'll give it a shot. :)

I love the dress. I was in H&M on the weekend (a rare treat since I have to travel to another city) but didn't have time to really try anything on. I saw that dress & fell in love, and it looks even more amazing on a person than it does on the hanger! It looks great on you!! I'd definitely wear it to a wedding.

Are the next 2 tops the same, just different colors? They're both really flattering on you, and I like the necklace as well.

Love, love, love the dress on you. You can definitely wear it to a wedding (and many more occasions.) I am bad at accessorizing, but I like the idea of a bright shoe. (Maybe red?) I know one of the other stylish women will help you with that one. FAB dress!

You look fantastic in that dress!! I think purple shoes would look good with it. Your other outfits are great too. I like the jacket and both of the BR tops. I like the sleeves and the v-neck is very flattering.

Wow, so wierd... I have that dress and the jacket, which are 2 of my favorite pieces right now! Its really cool to see someone else wearing it in their own way, it gives me more ideas.

Love love love!

Christine: Go buy it! It's great--I seriously want to wear it all the time. As for the two BR tops, they are two different shirts (one from this past fall and one from last.. spring, maybe?). I'll take a better picture tonight of the two, just for.. clarification, I suppose.

Tarzy and Violet: Thank you much. I won't lie, compliments make me 100% more confident (something I'd think is true for everyone, but still) about what I'm trying to pull off. I'm definitely going to wear this to at least the first wedding coming up in March.

Kendra: That is really weird, but great to have a style twin of sorts. Of course, this means I'd love to see how you wear the dress. Just saw a picture of the jacket (I think) with your navy top. It's not a combination I would have thought to try on my own, but I think it looks great on you and now I really want to run out and invest in some navy blue.

You look great in the dress and the other outfits on your blog. Nice job.
I love your curly hair. Are you one of those lucky ones with naturaly curly hair? I love it.

Fabulous dress and shoes! Is it for a day wedding?

Thanks San. Yes, my hair is naturally curly. I'm sad because it used to be so much curlier (when I was little and hated having curly hair), and has straightened out a bit since, presumably because of puberty. Oh well, I still appreciate what I have.

Angie, that's my big question. I got the dress because I knew I'd wear it anyway, but I am hoping to use it for one of the weddings. The first one (and the second, I think) is at 4:30 pm. I'm not really sure if that counts as day or evening, ha.
