Hi Ladies,

We adopted a 4 month old cat today from the RSPCA. She is just lovely. Very timid and shy but we are sure as she gets used to us and her new home she will be a little more relaxed. At the moment she is all about small enclosed spaces. I took this picture after she climbed on to the shelf of the bureau that houses are sound/dvd equipment below the tv. As I type she is hiding under our very low coffee table. She is a tabby and mostly black, so we look really good together (LOL). Her name is Ninja:)

And in other news today, my mum is in hospital. She has had a blood transfusion and will be having a scope (both ends) tonight. Trying not to be too worried and expecting a call from the hospital tonight with the outcome of the scope. For those unaware my mum and sister are in Melbourne 2.5 hours from where I live in Bendigo. Waiting for results before I decide if I need to head down. If you have a moment, prayers, positive thoughts etc would be very much appreciated.

We also have a very close friend in hospital today who was to have a stent put in but some complications presented and I have spent much of the day juggling calls between his wife and my sister - all is fine, I am just feeling a little 'stretched'

xxx Deborah
