Yikes, Manidipa! That story about your grandfather really *is* creepy. (I can't seem to stop checking back on this thread). On a related note, I remember expressing concern to the palm reader guy at the exhibition -- the same one who guessed that I'm a Leo-Virgo without a moment's hesitation -- because the life line on my palm is distinctly split. I thought it meant I'm supposed to die young, but he said no, what it means is that your life is going to change direction in a major way partway through. I'm still waiting, though. No big changes yet, and I'm nearly forty. So maybe it is all bogus. The cool spooky stories never seem to happen to me!
I am a Sagittarius but in my opinion, very little of the typical Sag traits ring true to me. The typical attributes of the pig, my Chinese zodiac, are a lot closer to hitting the mark for who I feel I am.
I am aries-taurus cusp. I relate to aries the way my head works. I have a Taurus heart. Loyal, steady. And yes, I can hold a grudge. My shopping habits are both aries ("smart" shopping, good at negotiating) and Taurus (prone to over-indulgence).

DH is a Scorpio and a Rat. Not sure how that fits into things--maybe someone else who knows more about the zodiac can chime in. (Not sure I believe this stuff, but it is entertaining!)
I'm a Taurus, with Virgo rising. I am loyal, honest, kind-hearted, determined and reliable - all that is true. I love systems, order, tidiness - I think that might be the Virgo in me! I don't know my moon sign, although I know in Chinese horoscopes I'm a Dragon.
DH is Gemini, as is our elder son. Younger son is Aquarius - very good with words and creative, and slightly quirky.

But several years ago I had my Vedic chart done, which says I'm a Pisces I think, with Leo ascendant (which is more important). I can't even remember! It got so confusing that I went from being quite obsessed to giving up on astrology altogether!
