We're home! She is doing much better already. She's really mad that she's stuck on doggie bedrest. No steps or jumping on the sofa for the next 8 weeks. At least we get to snuggle at home while she recuperates. Thanks for your kind words of support everyone. Our furbabies mean so much to us.

She needs to be treated like the little precious queen she is! I love pugs. If I didn't have my furbaby Reilly (whippet) pugs would be my breed of choice. So happy that she is dong ok. i don't know what I would do without my little guy. It's amazing how important they are and what they bring to our lives.

Oh Rita - what a precious picture. I'm sending you and your baby lots of love and positive healing vibes. Please keep us posted!

I am so glad she is recovering. Give extra love from me!

Yay for the good news! I hope her recovery is speedy and complete, and she stays healthy too

Ohmigosh. I'm so glad she's OK. More wishes for a speedy recovery!

Big hugs to you and the furkids! Please keep us posted!

Two words: swim therapy.

I had a dog who had 5 disks (pretty much all of them) in his lower back that were compressed and herniating. He never needed surgery and stayed fully mobile his entire life thanks, I feel, to warm water swim therapy.

Plus healthy doses of bromelain and glucosamine-chrondroitin.

I'm glad cutie pie is back home. She will be back to her old self in no time!

Wishing your baby quick healing, Rita. Sorry I didn't see this thread earlier. The anxiety until you know they're on the mend is just the worst, isn't it?

So glad that all went well with the surgery and now she's home and safe. Wishing her a speedy recovery.

Oh, I am very glad to read your fur-baby is recovering well after surgery. Phew!
