*Happily manning the tea both - here's a fresh scone, too!*
I'd love it if some of our amazing photographers - Marley comes to mind - would give a seminar on how to attain excellent photos while indoors.
Michelle and Angie might co-chair an industry update, similar to Michelle's guest posts.
I'd also be very interested in a seminar from Michelle emphasizing the importance of selecting outfits and dressing by feel as well. Michelle's comments about shopping/dressing by textures - appreciating the richness of fabrics or leathers - has made me so much more conscious of the touch and the comfort of my clothing, not only the appearance, and it's helped me appreciate my wardrobe on another level.
Taylor, Anna, and Rute should panel a masterclass on how to walk with comfort and poise in very high heels.
Our fabulous members who also work in fashion retail (Marianna, Taylor, etc.) should have a panel discussing how their visibility as a sales representative colors their at-work fashion choices.
I definitely think someone needs to tackle budgeting and closet editing, as Modgrl mentioned, but it's not me!
I also picture that we would have the following events running concurrently with the panel sessions:
*A giant open swap room, organized by size
*A foot care booth tailored towards both massage/pedicures for those who go in for it, or for comfort/pain prevention for those with fussy feet
*A "wardrobe workshopping" room where we can get together and workshop outfits or styles that we aren't sure how to wear successfully, and get suggestions from our peers. (Maybe we'd do this as an out-of-conference-center excursion in small groups, instead - a shopping trip to a department store in a group with others who have different challenges but similar interests - so we could actually try on some of the concepts we are exploring, and help each other out.)
*A computer or IPad station equipped with a camera/photo booth set up for instant realtime posts
And, of course, we would have to have a killer-to-the-power-of-killer evening reception so that we could get all decked out and celebrate together!
