OT : another YLF fun run

I have just done my first 10km fun run in 3 years. Started out well, but lost momentum towards the end and tripped over and grazed my thigh at around 9km!
Anyway finished, I think, at around 1hr 2 min, which while not my goal leaves me raring to go and do another one!

Congratulations Anne - you are my "shero"! One day I hope to do a 5K.

Congrats Anne! What an amazing achievement! I could not run 10' to save my life so I really admire those who can.

Brilliant! I couldn’t run 10 k’s if you paid me a billion bucks. Well done, Anne!

Well done Anne! I couldn't make it to the finish line of a 10K run even if you held a gun to my head (I would probably plead for a mercy killing).

I didn't run all the way, kind ladies! I stopped and walked every so often! (And quite a bit of the last km, after I fell over) I am in awe of people who can run non stop that distance too!

Congratulations Anne! I'm most impressed. Hope your leg isn't bothering you post-run!

Wonderful, Anne! The effort will benefit you even if you don't finish. You are an inspiration!

Go for it Hanna - and you and Kristen were my inspirations too! (I still can't run for 20 minutes straight like you can)

Michelle, my leg is a bit sore but no big deal

Thanks everyone!
