Did my leg weights workout and a interval and hill session on the treadmill after.

Trying to work out when to do a pump class tomorrow. a 6am start would give me the whole day to catch up with things at home, which would be really helpful, and the 9am class is really crowded and it can be hard to get the right weights BUT waking up really early, for me (5:35am) does tend to make me very tired as it is so hard to go to bed early enough to get enough sleep. And I have already done it mon, tue and plan to do it on Thurs. A later start on wed could be helpful in getting me through the week.

I did a Zumba class this morning -- kicked my butt after a week of vacation eating and drinking!

If anyone needs extra inspiration today, check out this fit 91-year-old:

Yes she is inspiring

I did a pump class and a few minutes on a stair climber this morning.

On the downside I had a baking day and had way too much mixture to eat. However it is mostly for school lunches so will soon be cut up, wrapped and frozen and thus out of my reach!

Well, I'm icing my foot as I read and type here, since my foot it acting up again, after two years of being good. Went to physio yesterday, and was told I have weak ankles and tight calves, all leading to plantars faciitis....Ugh. Should have kept up the stretching and strength work they gave me at physio two years ago I guess. Laziness finally caught up with me and it'll be a while to recover now.

So my fave, running, is out for now. Oh well, it's been too hot to be fun anyway and I'm not training for any races. (Do I sound convincing?? I LOVE running...sigh).

Dug out all my DVD's and will be doing a lot of strength and Jillian training to keep up. Thankfully, as Mo put it, I like a full body approach and can still stay fit, regardless of no running and no plyo moves. Just takes being a bit more creative.

So my plan is strength training for 45 minutes (full body) 3x next week and cardio on my recumbant bike (while watching The Big C series) 2 or 3 x next week.

My eating has been good and I'm working on not being so fixated on food and have stopped weighing myself everyday, so I will see how I've done tomorrow, at my once a week weigh in. Eventually I want to be able to throw the scale away, and I think that may be in my very near future.

Nice work to all of you ladies, keep it up!!

I hope you feel better soon, Kim! Sports injuries are SO annoying!!!

I have a verra verra small sports injury at the moment -- jammed my finger on a medicine ball at boot camp class yesterday morning and it is all purple today. Very festive. Fortunately it's not too painful and I have almost full motion so I'm pretty sure nothing is broken.

Still keeping up with my exercise, though. A session with Trainer Dave AND tap class are on the agenda for this evening! Eating is not awesome but not awful. Weight still where it has been.
