opinion on new BCBG top?

I just got this top, and I'm undecided. It's a wrap with a lot of ruching, creating a waist; since I don't have one. It has the bat wing sleeves that are voluminous up top to balance out my pear-ness. And it's a different color pallete. (can't decide if that's good or bad:) )

what do you think? keeper or not?

Love, love, love it on you! But I am probably not the most objective person to say this, since I am huge fan of both wraps and BCBG.

Taffy, I really like the cut of the shirt. I'm not sure about the color but since monitors are all different, I'll leave it to you. What's your gut feel on the color? It's nice to have some different colors in your wardrobe.

Looks good, I like the pattern and the color esp. with dark jeans that you are wearing. I wonder if longer sleeves with this style would look better.

Taffy, I like both the color and the style on you.

Look great Taffy - I like that it adds some different color to your wardrobe and it really defines the shape of your body. Keeper.

THanks everyone! I'll keep it! And Tanya...thanks for the idea. I found it at TJ MAxx for $20 :)

i love it, taffy :) very flattering. how are you planning on accessorizing it? i would recommend a chunky beaded necklace - maybe in black or gold.

Thanks Shell...I hadn't been able to figure out what to put with it. With a V neck top do you always want to match that shape with your necklace? i.e. filling all the negative space?

taffy,
i think the type of necklace does depend somewhat on the neckline. here are my general rules, although i do bend them from time to time. :)

v-necks
i either stick to shorter necklaces or necklaces that are a couple inches longer than the lowest point of the v. sometimes if i wear a necklace that is just slightly longer than the neckline, it falls inside the shirt, which is never good.

scoop necks
for these, i usually wear a shorter necklace that "fills the negative space". the neckline just seems like the perfect frame for them. pendant necklaces work especially well with scoopnecks.

turtlenecks
as long as there is no detail at the neckline (ruffles, tie-necks, etc.), i wear a necklace with them. i recommend long chains/pendants with these. nothing too close to the neck b/c it doesn't help elongate.

strapless
the possibilities are generally limitless on this type b/c there really is no defined neckline.

i hope that helps!
