Thanks torontogirl. I am intrigued by the second dress. It's very different for me, but I decided to give linen a try on. Knit linen is very itchy to me, but the woven linen may be a direction to look in.
Smittie - I appreciate the honesty about the linen dress. I'm also on the fence about that one. It would be a very useful item, and I've found it very difficult to find longer dresses that are not knit or too hot (I'm not against knit. Just have to be careful about some knit tee dresses looking like a nightgown). I must admit a cowl neck can add to looking top heavy.
For outfit 10, it was the first time this season the tall boots came out to play, and the waterfall cardigan is lightweight. It was lovely and brisk this morning, but on the edge of warm this afternoon. At the mall, I saw lots of other women in tall boots, so I guess we decided we couldn't wait any longer.
