I could drop all the hints that I wanted (or even tell him simply that I wanted these), but considering that we need a second vehicle so that he can stop spending several hours a day on the bus, the stove is broke, the car is leaking oil, I need a new digital camera since I broke mine, a replacement crock pot for the one that my son just broke, and a winter coat- these aren't going to make their way under my Christmas tree.
We've had terrible luck this year with things breaking, and just have a lot of replacements that need to be taken care of.
