Hello All,

Anyone in the Northern California/SF Bay Area want to schedule a meet-up in September? Perhaps a fun day window shopping/shopping/lunch? I'd be happy to coordinate.

Excellent idea! I won't be available after September 21 but before that my schedule is open. Downtown San Francisco? Stanford Shopping Center?

The downtown Walnut Creek shopping area is also option and is within driving distance of Sacramento.

ooooo, sounds very very fun! i live in pleasant hill, right next door to walnut creek. downtown has nice high end shops (nordie's, betsey johnson, banana republic, etc.) in a nice kind of open-air mall, while a couple of blocks away on main street there are some pretty nice consignment shops.

it can also get way into the high 90's to low 100's in september (no lie!). and san francisco is amazing!

will keep an eagle eye on this thread! and StacyJo, you're an angel steph

I could maybe do that. Walnut Creek would be more relaxed, I think. A little easier on the parking front. What times?

I'm a maybe for the 17th, have a conflict but I'd much rather meet with YLFers so will try to wiggle out of it. Otherwise, I'm okay with dates through September 19th.

Since I'm coming from the Peninsula, San Francisco is closer for me but I'm also happy to drive to Walnut Creek, so whatever is most convenient for other people is fine by me.

sadly, my only free day is sunday, sept. 18 but, if that works for everyone, can't wait to see you!

If it's in SF, I'm a definite yes but in Walnut Creek I'm a maybe. I understand the parking situation is challenging though so whatever works best for the group

BARTing to Walnut Creek might be an option (less cars on the road) or carpooling for our YLF'ers on the pennisula. Since I'm smack dab in the middle (Oakland), I can do either, so my vote is totally useless LOL. For those of you that have a potential day conflict, what times are good for you on the 17th? Perhaps we can work it so that everyone can at one point or another meet up - kind of like a floating "fashion mob"

I'm free on Sunday, the 18th. Saturday, I really only have the morning and early afternoon. That's pretty much all Saturdays.

I"d love to meet up with everyone, but weekends are not always the best for me. I already have plans on the 17 as well. If anyone wants to meet up on a weekday I'd be game.
I do understand though, that weekends work out best for most everyone else.

I'd love to join up but I'll have to play it by ear. Weekends and weekdays are both pretty much the same--over scheduled. The chauffeur rarely gets a day off.

I am not in the Bay Area but I doubt a YLF meet up will ever come to the foothills or Yosemite so I'd be happy to drive!

I am not available on Saturday Sept. 17 but I *may* be able to make a Sunday Sept. 18th gathering. Walnut Creek and SF are equidistant for me.

(In SF I like the Stockton-Sutter garage, it's pretty reasonable. Or park in Pleasanton and take Bart.)

Hello Ladies,

Hope all of you are well. Wanted to update and let you all know that the weekend we are talking about may be a bit tight for me. We recently got back from vacation (which was supposed to be in Cape Hatteras, NC, but was thwarted by an uninvited guest of the windy/rainy/stormy sort). Suffice it to say, when we did return, hubster's business went balistic in a very positive way!. What this means is that hubster has scheduled client meetings that weekend that I am required to attend and I have a pearl jewelry party on the 18th (I'm working to build a home business) with about 100 people.

I realize some of you had conflicts and some of you need time to schedule drive time. Any suggestions for an alternative Saturday?

would love to meet up at another time! i am available saturdays ~noon, or all day sunday depending if there is a family get-together or not.
