I went to Nordstrom Rack tonight with a load of NAS returns. "It's the Anniversary Sale!" I said to the cashier. "You know what that means!"

Anyway, one of the items I returned was the Bernardo wool coat in blue (first pic). I loved the color, but wasn't loving how it looked on me and it was itchy. After making my returns I took a lap around the store and came upon a Trina Turk wool coat in navy blue (pictured below in maroon), size 12, only one, on clearance in the XS section. It pays to browse outside your size zone! I tried it on and almost left it because I was tired and hungry (can I get an amen?), but then tried it on a second time because a navy wool coat is truly on my shopping list. I may have muttered something to myself about "sale goggles." But I truly loved it. The quality surpasses that of the Bernardo coat. The best part? The original price was $545. It was marked $81.75 on clearance. I realized this after deciding I loved it.

Dying of happiness right now. I'll take another look at it tomorrow in the harsh light of day and hopefully there won't be buyer's remorse.
