New...sweater?

This sweater is pretty outside the box for me, but when I first saw it online I couldn't get to the store to try it on fast enough.
I plan on wearing it more casually (with shorts), but I couldn't resist wearing it the day after I got it.
What do you think? Any other styling ideas?

I love this on you! I saw it on your blog. It's such a fun knit and no doubt cool enough for a Texas summer. I never know whether these things are better with a like colored tank or a contrast. I'll have to see what you do with it : )

What a perfect hot weather cover-up! Another suggestion for styling it would be a completely light neutral outfit where texture is the highlight..grey/silver and white or tan and white or even cream and white. Add pearls and something shiny like patent or metallic footwear. Maybe a sequined tank under your sweater?

I must've missed this top in AT, it's perfect for warmer weather. I really like the texture this top adds to an outfit.

This looks beautiful on you! I ordered the same sweater online, and it was much bulkier and roomier on me than I wanted. I probably should have tried sizing down, but the gold glittery threads were not for me. But you have styled it exactly like I was picturing it in my mind :)! It's perfect for you and it looks wonderful.

The sweater is still available, Lisa. I went to my store the day after it was put on the floor and I got the last one (robbed the mannequin of her top, hehe). But it's still online. I had saved up some coupons and rewards, and it paid off.

Sarah, you look great in this sweater! I really think this is going to be a four season piece for you ( I see layering in your future....).

What about testing it out with some of your shorts, too? Perhaps the new coral drapey safaris? Denim shorts? Or even testing it out over a sheath dress? Hmmmmmm.....now I want one, too! ;D
