new winter top and boots

In the first picture I think you can see the waist of the skirt sticking out a bit. It is a bit loose around the waist but if I pull it down to fit on my hips it just rides up again. Is this very evident?

Taylor - thanks - it IS a great jacket. I have had it over 7 years and it is cracking badly around the cuffs and collar but I think I'll wear it until I can find a replacement that is just as good, which will be hard!

That top is a perfect fit, and great length for skirts. I didn't notice the waistband issue until you brought it up, so I don't think it is obvious. If it bothers you, maybe you could wear a tight bottom layer to smooth it out?

To answer your waistband skirt question, Anne - that drives me batty. I have skirts that ride up like that adjusted to fit my waist so that they stay put. Taylor has that done too. But if it doesn’t worry you then leave it, it’s fine.

Yes Inge I am glad I got the glasses! Shana I didn't wear that to playgroup! (though I have worn the jacket there, many times). I wore it to church, and NOT on a day when I was rostered on the creche or teaching kids in sunday school!
