New Tunic top.. do we like?

I bought this tunic top from Pull and Bear the other day. This is the first time I have attempted to wear it, I first tried it with leggings and my legs looked slimmer and not as bulky but I am thinking ithe tunic is too short. I am now wearing it with my Gap jeans, does this look ok or or they too baggy for the top, does it look a but frumpy?

I do think the shirt is a bit short to wear with the leggings (reminds me of the early 90's)
I like it with the jeans. Not frumpy at all. What about your skinnies though? Did you try it with them?

Not frumpy at all. I think you get away with it with leggings because you have lovely slim legs. looks good with jeans, def. try with skinnies too.
I'm not keen on the belt or where it is, could you swap it for a wide hip belt or perhaps skinny waist belt? x

I will try it with my skinnie jeans but the problem I am having with them at the moment is the keep falling down at end up the crotch 2 inches lower than it should be, really uncomfy!
The belt is attached to the tunic but I could probably cut it off and use another one instead.

Mummy- sounds like you need to have the waistband of your skinnies taken in. Are they a lower rise? I have that problem with lower rise jeans-- I try to stick with a right-below-the-waist rise.
I agree with Louise's observation about the belt. I think it needs a more substantial belt.

I might take them to the tailors and see what they can do with them. Otherwise they are a good fit.

I like the tunic with your jeans. I don't think the issue is the jeans but, as the other ladies have pointed out, the belt. I agree that the tunic could use a belt with a tad more structure. I don't have a problem with the belt being low-slung, though. The tunic has a nice pattern.

regarding the skinnies- if you're wearing a loose tunic over them, you could also try using a belt in the jeans to keep them more snug around your hips.

M2T, I prefer the tunic with the jeans, because of the length. It doesn't look frumpy at all! I quite like the pattern. I echo the suggestion above that playing with the belt placement would probably help.

Thanks Angie, it needs restyled at the moment as its just decided to get mega thick again!
Queenie I'm thinking of wearing my skinnies today so I will try putting a belt with them and see if it helps.
Medusa Next time I wear the tunic I will try a couple of different belts and post to see if we find the right one. Thanks for the comments ladies.

Looks awesome with jeans. I haven't read the other comments but would suggest trying belts of different widths and various heights. That can jazz it up even further.

I think it looks super cute! Both with leggings and jeans. I like it as it is, but, I'm sure it'd look great with other belts as well.
