I have just enabled an extra level of security when you are browsing YLF. This is something that many websites have and we're following suit. You should see a little padlock alongside the address bar, and depending on your browser, the word "secure" might appear there too.

There was nothing untoward happening that caused us to take this measure. It is just something that modern websites do these days. It will stop a hacker from intercepting the info that you post to YLF when you're on an insecure network. For example, your password will be safe when you're logging in to YLF using WiFi at a coffee shop.

It is possible that this thing I enabled (it is called SSL) causes a glitch or two, so please let me know if you see anything strange.

UPDATE: The site might ask you to log in again. This is normal.
