New pants and top. K/R? Added tucked pics

- Celia suggested I tuck the top, so I added two pics of trying to tuck! The grey casual top (#6) and a pale purple/grey "dressier" top. I've never tried tucking a top before so really have no idea how to do it! Any thoughts on this are very welcome!

- Also have this green top that is shorter in the front that I thought might work... (#8)

Found a pair of black, relaxed pants that I really liked, and a grey top to go with it. I really like the relaxed vibe of this outfit! But I'm not too sure about the (lack of) sleeves on the top, maybe another one would look better? I found two other grey tops online with short sleeves, maybe one of them would be preferable? (#4 and 5)

Grey sleeveless top, black pants and blue/grey shoes (oxfords?). (There is a waistband that causes some crunching of the top, but I don't think it's as visible IRL)

#2 "semi rolled" (my preference)
#3 more rolled

I like the pants rolled higher as in #3. Love the shoes!

I really like the pants but am not very sure about the top. Have you tried semi-tucking it ?

Thanks Donna and Celia! I'll try tucking it when I get home later and add a pic of that. I'm not too sold on the tucked look though... At least not on me. Maybe it's just cause I'm not used to it, I've never really tried it! So I'll give it a go.

I think they both look good. The top seems fairly casual - is that how you envision using it? I like the pants best in #2, but I'm not an expert on cropped pant length.

Thanks Sara! Yes, definitely see it as a casual top. I figure that I have a couple of nicer tops that could be used for "dressing up", so I want one that is more for everyday wear too. I added pics of two other grey casual tops, to see if either of them might work better...

Celia, I tried tucking it now but am not really sure if I did it right! Any thoughts?

Length #2 and the buttoned top in pic 7 look best to me. I'm guessing that it is because the oxfords and more tailored (yet still drapey) top seem to work better together. The minty green color is nice on you but maybe a bit more tailored/structured woul be nice?

I like the pants rolled in 2 & 3 and I think the semi tucking looks good...but I'm not an expert and get confused on these issues, too, so will defer to the YLF gang.

Thanks binkle and Carole! Binkle, I also like it with the buttoned top, but I'll probably wear it with the grey top and other more casual tops too, when I'm having very relaxed days... Thanks for the input!
