New Mango Sweater

Here is the new cropped cardigan I bought at Mango in San Francisco. It's burgundy and the cut outs are flowers. It's an angora wool blend.

I don't know if I should wear a cropped cardigan over a button-front shirt or only over knit tops. I think it will look good with cream. Does it work with white? I'm planning to try it with my wine Leo and Sage top -- I'm hoping the monochromatic scheme will work with the two colors.

Very pretty sweater Aj! I think it works for both shirts and knit tops. As for the colors, in addition to white/cream. I'd also try shades of grey and navy and of course black. Camel also comes to mind if you can wear it.

Beautiful! You can wear that with the white shirt as in the picture and knit tops. I love it. I bet you'll have that in your wardrobe forever. Good purchase. It fits great and looks good on you. I love the texture of it.
I'm glad that cropped cardis are coming down in length a bit. We certainly have a lot of choices in cardis now don't we. No more granny cardis.

Beautiful cardigan Aj! (on my monitor it looks more of a brownish burgundy). I like it with the button-down and I'm sure it will work with knit tops too.
I'm curious to see it paired with the wine L&S top, I have a hunch that will look great.
(Tanya has made good suggestions, and how about lilac?)

Oh, I think it could look great paired with a patterned dress (maybe unbuttoned then, depending on the shape of the dress) or shirt too.
